Mental wellbeing affects how we feel about all areas of life. Looking after our mental wellbeing can improve the way that we feel every day. Self-care can be quick and is cost-effective.
This strategy builds on the Five Ways to Wellbeing, and adds hydration, nutrition, sleep and hope for the
future, to achieve a comprehensive approach to improve mental wellbeing and tackle stigma. For thi
reason, Wellbeing Plans based around 8 steps to Wellbeing have been developed and are being promoted across Walsall. Undertaking Wellbeing plans will help residents understand what they can do to enhance, maintain and/or improve their mental wellbeing.
